INQUISITION is an
arts/literature webzine which will present works from a wide range of subject matter and
will explore the dialogue and nature of art through the personal experience of the
individual. INQUISITION is for anyone who feels the urge to ask questions
from the universe, for those who do not live in the dark.
Welcome to my Inquisition
web-zine. Many changes can be expected as I play around with it and add content. Content
will be added part by part and the different sections outlined above and to the side will
become active in days to come. I appreciate any feedback on this site, so please feel free
to e-mail me with any comments at spirinexus@hotmail.com

This page lives. Well, not quite. I'm looking to start a new personal site soon. The

7/20/00: Grand Inquisitor: Just musing about love on a Thursday
night--Relax.
8/1/00: Something of note
for us filmmakers out there: HBO.com recently announced a
contest whose winner will have Matt Damon and Ben Affleck executive-produce his (or her)
film and Miramax films will release it! The rules and deadline for the contest will be
posted soon at projectgreenlight.com. The
catch of the contest is that HBO will make a multi-part documentary about the making of
the film. Go to the site for details.
8/2/00: Long, protracted
drum roll please: The Music section's finally open. To kick it off, a review of the Unsung Hero Anniversay show from this past July1st.
9/4/00: Announcement:
Hello to all INQUISITION readers. I've just built a new computer. Unfortunately, in the
process, I "killed" the old computer in which the INQUISITION web site resided.
As result, I have to re-establish the site in my new computer, so the site won't the
updated in the next few days or so. Please check the site sometime next week. Expect
regular updates by then. Thank you.
9/17/00: Back in
black..and with some music news:
Radiohead, one of my top
favorite bands, will release their new record next month. Kid A, the new record's title,
is the followup to their critically acclaimed 1997 release, OK Computer. Here's more info:

10/10/00: Notes: This
past monday would have been John Lennon's 60th birthday. Let's take a moment to remember
the music and the man, one of the most influential musical artists of the 20th century.
On a sad note: Actor
Richard Farnsworth, acclaimed for his role last year on David Lynch's The Straight Story,
died of a self-inflicted wound this past weekend. He had been suffering from terminal
cancer. Let's take a moment to remember this underrated actor.

1/1/01: Happy New Year! I
hope you had a great holiday season and that the new year found you in good health and
spirits. With the new year I have an announcement to make about the future of INQUISITION.
I've shifted priorities
and have decided that my efforts this year will go to the writing and production of a
short film. It's been my lifelong dream to be a filmmaker and I've realize I must increase
my efforts in making that dream happen. This means that INQUISITION won't be an urgent
concern for me in the year ahead and as such, this web site will only be upgraded a couple
of times per month.
In making this
announcement since many have asked me why isn't the site updated regularly so now anyone
that visits this site knows why. I hope that in the near future INQUISITION could be a
place to be exposed to thought provoking art, a place to discuss the ongoing process of
our culture, our artistic development and to philosophize about Life in general.
I hope to chart the
course of my short film in INQUISITION so tuned back to this site in the months ahead for
updates on this project.
3/14/01:What's up with
me? If you been wondering about the status of INQUISITION, this web site has been comatose
for the past two months. I'm doing my best to reach a final draft of my short film.In all
honesty,this winter season has slowed me down significantly.Still,this site lives if only
in a state of almost imperceptible 'suspended animation.'
6/6/01: Status Report:
Progress on my short film project is slow and I'm beginning to get antsy about
refreshening the site.So I think I'll work on updating at least every couple of
weeks.That's not a promise though.

catastrophic national tragedy of last week, the site awakens from its deep freeze
momentarily to bring you an installment of Grand Inquisitor: A
Week Ago.
What I'm Reading: Bunuel,
by John Baxter. An insightful biography of famous film director Luis Bunuel,a very
underrated artist who made some of the most intelligent and subversive films between the
1950's through the 1970's.
What I'm listening
to: Travis,The Invisible Band-- Straightforward and humble are the
charms of Travis,the popular english band who has just released their third record. Lead
singer Fran Healy and company opt for heartfelt and traditionally well-arranged songs
which encourage to "Sing" when you're in love and to realize we're all on the
same "Side." And to complete the humble pie package,they give their songs to
their fans--As Fran puts it, "these are your songs now."
