And hello!,..... Do feel that YOU are most welcome!Make yourself at home. The pictures you are about to see, were taken with several different cameras, ranging from a large 4x5 View camera, twin-lens 6x6, and single-lens reflex system cameras.
I've tried to standardize my film, paper, and chemicals, in order to simplify and economize.
I began photographing when I was 16 years old, using a plastic Kodak Brownie Box Camera. After a few years of photographing my friends and relatives, I decided to try photography as a profession, enrolling in the City College of Santa Monica, California to study professional photography, drawing, painting and ceramics. (The drawings, paintings, and ceramics, are my own productions.)
After a few years of study, I began to exhibit my photographs in the Los Angeles County area. After completing approximately 25 one-man-shows, I decided to travel to Europe to see what other artists were doing.
I ended up in Sweden, and it has become my "home away from home". To date, I have had more than 85 exhibitions and acquired acclaim from the community of Södertälje, Sweden. I was awarded a culture prize in 1974, for furthering the efforts to have photography recognized as an art.
I am still an American citizen, born in Panama City, Panama R.P., July 19, 1940. Have attended American schools from kindergarten up, through a liberal arts sojourn in Santa Monica City College, California. (1962-65) Currently living in Halmstad, Sweden.
