There were two line number 38's and no line 35 on the original
There were 295 Government sponsored immigrants on board according to Nicholson - if the deaths are excluded this is corroborated on this disposal list
There is no complete passenger list - this is the most complete - and it does not show the names of married women or children.
The original register is held by the NSW State Records, Sydney. MF Reel 2654 Location 4/4780. Fax them on 61-2-9833 4518 for copies and quotes.
They also have more detailed records of each passenger, which you can order for those passengers that interest you. Some include place of birth and parents names.
I have copied the above as accurately as possible - but some details, particularly the Irish origin names, are almost definitely incorrectly spelled.
