Montezuma's Castle

Montzuma's Castle

This 20-room cliff dwelling was built by the Sinagua indians in the early 1100's.  Early settlers mistakenly thought that it was the remains of an Aztec settlement, and named it after Montezuma.  This ancient dwelling is about 50 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona.
