Mule Deer

| I shot this mule deer (with my camera)
near one of the park rangers' buildings in the Grand Canyon Villiage. Even though
deer and other animals often come up to people looking for food, the rangers will tell you
not to feed them, since they get used to the free handouts and then starve in the winter
when no one is around to feed them. Also, be sure to dispose of your garbage
properly so the animals won't choke on it. Of course, this friendly advice applies
anywhere, not just in the Grand Canyon! |
