| You never know what you'll see in Philadelphia! The Kalmar Nyckel is a reproduction of a colonial Swedish ship that was in town in Spring 1999 for a staged battle with another, not nearly as authentic ship. The battle was held at Penn's Landing on the Delaware River as a promotion for the A&E Network's Horatio Hornblower series of movies. The domed building in the background is the New Jersey State Aquarium in Camden, NJ. |
