The Beautiful Silk Robe Is. . .

The beautiful silk robe is . . . .
A mountain of butterlies,
A sea of flowers,
A meadow of green grass.
The beautiful silk robe is . . . .

Soccer with the Moon (after Li Bai)

I like soccer
But have no one to play with.
So I try to have a one-on-one
with the moon.
But all he does is make
me think his shadow is the
ball in the dark night.
My shadow just follows
me. But still,
I like soccer.

The Mountain (translating Wang Wei)

There is an empty mountain
but I don't see man.
But I hear the man,
His voice.
I see his shadow reflecting
as I enter deep forest
And then, sun shine
on green moss and upon
Man.
