Have you noticed that some cell phone users have a propensity to wander about when they are talking on the phone?

I have and in fact, last week I saw an scene that has stuck with me since as it struck some sort of chord of beauty. I was walking on campus and passed by the university's business building. There had must have been a break from some business or finance class as outside of the main doors there were a half dozen future business men and women all talking on cell phones.

The beauty of the sight was that they were all walking among each other in an almost perfect choreography. It's hard to explain why their movements were so perfect. It was like a dance. Graceful but accidental. Well choreographed but unplanned.

Maybe it's the effect of watching all those West Side Story Gap ads, but I kept expecting one of the cell phone callers to suddenly break out of step and break into song and dance.

Maybe LaLaLa Human Steps could put this into one of their works.
