I have always lived my online existence with this credo: RealLife always takes precedence over OnlineLife.

Study after study shows that the danger of living an online existence is that the time spent online is at expense to time spent with friends, family, and (the good news) television.

I have a healthy enough work ethic that prevents me to pursuit online projects while on the job. (I like my job - I'm a librarian).

The solution that I'd love to see to this problem is a shorter work week. It would be ironic if this actually happened. Computers were supposed to save us work time that we could spend for leisure. I'm advocating a shorter work week so we can spend more leisure time with computers (and thus, people).
