Nov. 24th 1999 TURMOIL ALL OUT WAR LUNGBRUSH SUMTHIN TO FIGHT FOR TRUE IDENTITY
This show was at Club HomeBass in Wilkes-Barre, P.A. First up was True Identity. I'm pretty sure that they are a local band. They were pretty good. They are a youth crew band with that classic Gorilla Biscuts sound. They even did a GB cover. Check them out if you get a chance. Next up was Sumthin To Fight For. They are another fairly local band. They too have the youth crew style and played a real good set. Alot of kids liked these guys and showed their support throughout their whole set. Next up was Lung Brush. I have never seen these guys before. I was really suprised when they played. They have a metal sound to them and I really liked them. They are on tour with Turmoil and All Out War, so be on the lookout for them. They have some awesome double bass and some cool vocal styles. Check them out. Next up was All Out War. These guys blew the place apart. They played an awesome set as usual and kids were goin off. It was great. If you've never seen All Out War, you're missing out, especially if you are into metal. They are on tour right now, so be sure to check out their show closest to you!! Finally, we had Turmoil. These guys were great as well. I haven't seen them in a while. They played an awesome set, people went crazy. Huge singalongs, and a great pit. They played a short set because their new guitar player didn't know all their songs yet. Overall, this show was great. I was happy to see some Wilkes-Barre kids come out and check out some unfamiliar bands for a change. It was really cool, and I hope they continue to do so. Unity is what it is all about. Mike AOW summed it up when he said that we have "a great thing going here, keep it alive!" Thats what we all gotta do. Stand together and keep out scene strong!!! See ya at the Burial Ground show at Homebass on Friday the 26th!!!

Nov. 6th 1999 E-TOWN CONCRETE 7TH RAIL CREW STRENGTH FOR A REASON IN THE EYES OF.. COM
This show was at Sea Sea's in Moosic, P.A. The turnout at this show was one of the best that I've seen in a while at Sea Sea's.
The first band up was Com. The have a pretty unique style to them. Most of the people seemed to like them, but I got there just as they were wrapping it up, so i only got a chance to catch about the last 5 minutes of their set. I thought that they were alright. Next up was In The Eyes Of.. These guys started off their set with an awesome heavy-ass song, it was great. these guys are more of a metal/hardcore style. They are a great band from Scranton, and would definitely blow up if they would only play out of the area. They are mostly 16 and 17 so they should start getting out more!! They would do great if they did! Next up was my band Strength For A Reason. This was our secnd show after a three month break because of different issues. We played a great set and people went nuts. It was great. We played our last two songs with our new bass player, Jesse, who we picked up from a band called Magnus. He is working out really well. We are working on new songs, the bus, and some merchaandise so keep your eyes open for us!!! Next up was 7th Rail Crew from Massachusetts. I saw these guys a couple times before and I like them alot. They have a bongo player and shit, its something different and it sounds good. Definitely check them out if you get a chance. Finally was E-Town Concrete. They sounded pretty good, but the bass was up way too loud. My eyes would vibrate everytime the bass hit. It was terrible. Other than that, they played a good set and everyone had a great time. Be sure to come out for the return of Burial Ground at Club Homebass in Wilkes-Barre, P.A. For more info email me.

May. 7th 1999 ALL OUT WAR E-TOWN CONCRETE CLEAR
This show was at Sea Sea's in Moosic, P.A. We got there late, so these are the only bands we saw. When I got there Clear was going on. They were from Utah I think. I never seen these guys before, and I was anxious to see what they sounded like. They have a pretty hard sound to them with a few metal riffs and stuff. There was good support from the kids who were dancing. Check these guys out if you get the chance. Next up was E-Town Concrete. Everyone knows about these guys, so I'll keep it short. Great set, awesome sound, crazy pit, and huge singalongs. You know the rest. And lastly, was ALL OUT WAR! I was talking to Mike outside before their set for a while, and he was telling me about the bands troubles with Jim and the drummer leaving. They hadn't played a show in over 5 months. This was also their first show with their new drummer, who they only had for about 3 weeks. When they finally went on stage, the whole place went nuts! It was great. The new drummer knew all the songs he played perfectly and every song sounded great. They should be playing alot of shows now, so keep an eye out for them! They put on a great show.

Jan. 29th E-TOWN CONCRETE ONE 4 ONE KENSINGTON STRENGTH FOR A REASON FREIGHT TRAIN
This show was at Club Homegrown in Allentown, P.A. We got there late, so we missed the first couple bands. WE went on when we got there, and we played a good set. We were in tune this time, unlike our last show at Planet Trog. We played all our songs including our Krutch cover called "Respect". After us was Kensington, I think. If it wasn't I'm sorry, but whoever it was was pretty good. I can't remember what they sounded like, but I know that alot of people were dancing for them. After that band was One 4 One. These guys had the most crowd particiation up to this point. They had pretty good size singalongs and a nice pit. I'm not really a fan of them myself, but they are very talented and real cool guys. Don't miss these guys if they come through your area. Finally, we had E-Town. This time they had only one guitarist because they kicked the other one out. They still sounded good. They played alot of new ones, as well as some oldies of their previous album on Resurrection AD. Overall, it was a good show. Sorry there isn't much here, but we got there late and I didn't really get to pay good attention to the bands because we were rushed around. This place is a cool place for shows, although the sound system could be better. But hey, its good enough to play a show and have some fun.

Dec. 17th EARTH CRISIS HATEBREED CANDIRIA NRSV COMIN CORRECT PROBLEM ADDICT KENSINGTON STRENGTH FOR A REASON
This show was at CLUB B.P.M. in Allentown, P.A. Well, you can take Kensington and Strength for a Reason off of the bill because we were told we couldn't play when we got there. Too many bands I guess! That blew, but what are you gonna do. Anyway, Problem Addict went up first. They sounded like Rage Against the Machine or something, with a rap/scream type of vocals. I really didn't care for them cause its not my thing, but a couple other people seemed to like them which was cool. Next up was Comin Correct. They had a new lineup. Some European kids were on the guitar and drums, and Judd from Dysphoria was on bass. They played a good set, although some parts weren't played too good. As always, the singalons were great and the pit was also movin alot. They played alot of covers which was surprising. It think the played like 7 or 8 songs and maybe half were covers. Next up was No Redeeming Social Value. They were pretty good too. I haven't seen these guys in a long time. They played a great set, including all of their crazy songs which are about chicken and fabio. It was fun. Next up was Candiria. All I got to say is the drummer is the best!! He is amazing. If candiria ever comes your way, make sure to check out the drummer and the guitar player. They are amazing! They never miss a beat and are always in time with each other no matter what kind of crazy riff they play. They pit was real good for these guys. Alot of kids were singin along, but I notice the singer doesn't like to give out the mic. Its his own choice though. Next up was Hatebreed. YES, THEY SHOWED UP!! They played an awesome set. Everyone was waithing for them the whole night, so you can imagine how the place was when they played! Towards the end of their set, their was a little fight or something, but what are you gonna do when their are drunk assholes pushing people around for no reason. Someone is gonna snap sonner or later. Lastly was good ol Earth Crisis. We stayed for about three of their songs and split. Overall, this show was good, despite we weren't allowed to play. We are playing there Jan 29th with Bulldoze though, so make sure to come out!!!

Dec. 12th KRUTCH MUSHMOUTH DYSPHORIA STRENGTH FOR A REASON NO RETREAT LIVIN PROOF
This show was at Sea Sea's in Moosic, P.A. First off, I want to say that this show was probably the best show at Sea Sea's all year, turnout wise that is. The place was packed!! I couldn't belive it!! It was crazy. You had to actuall wait in line to get down the hallway to the dancefloor! Anyway, first up was Livin Proof. This was their final show. These guys were great. They definitely show everyone that they still got it. People were getting crushed on the floor, and Pepe, the bassist, was showin off his moves. Personally, I think that they should keep goin because everyone is defintely into them alot and supported them a great deal. Next up was No Retreat. These guys are from the Pittsburgh area, and they played a great set as usual. The floor was goin crazy, and everyone was havin fun. Definitely check these guys out if you ever get the chance too. Next up was Strength For A Reason. We played a great set! Although we had a few screwups here and there, no one noticed which was good. I never saw so many kids dance for us as I did at this show. It was great. The singalongs were huge and everyone was movin. Definitely a show that I will remember! Next up was Dysphoria. These guys as always are awesome. If you never heard them before, make sure to get their Cd!! You'll like it alot. They are like a metal/hardcore mix. Its great. As always, the PA singalongs and pits are some of the best that I've seen around. They had a great one goin for a while, and the pileons were nuts. Next was Mushmouth. I hadn't seen these guys in a while, but i knew that I was going to have fun when they played. They played some songs off of their new cd called OUT TO WIN. Its on Triple Crown Records. Listen, you gotta have this cd! Its on of the best CDs out this year. Ismean does a guest vocal on it which is great, so definitely pick it up. Anyway, back to the show. If you've ever seen Mushmouth, you know that their style is one in itself. They are one of my favorites, and I know I was dancing for them. It got smashed a few times, but thats to be expected in a pit like the one they had goin. Kev, the singer for Bulldoze, was there and came up during their set to do a song. They did a Bulldoze cover and everyone went crazy. Kev was even in the pit rippin shit up! Can't wait to see Bulldoze live!! Mushmouth played a great set, and I hope to see them again real soon. Finally, we had Krutch!! It feels like years since I saw them last. All I got to say is that I have never seen so many people dancing and singing as I did that night. People were coming from everywhere to try and get the mic off of Karl. Pepe started Krutch's set off by getting the crowd hyped up while Krutch played their intro. Karl ran up on stage in full a full camo outfit from head to toe. It was pure fun their whole set. And yes, after how many years, they finally gave in and played URINATION ZONE! It was great. Then towards the end of their set, unknown to us, I guess Vince booked a hip-hop party that night. These big tough black guys came through the crowd and tried to stop the show. The stupid asses were standing in the middle of the pit yeeling at Karl to stop playing. Everyone got pissed and started dancing real hard at once and caught the 2 asshole up in the pit. They didn't know what to do. Vince let them play one last song. They did and busted into another song. The soundman cut the mic and started playing some hip hop shit through the PA. Krutch kept goin and you could hear everyone singing. We didn't need a mic. Finally, they got done and the black guys started kicking everyone out of the club because they wanted to have their party, get drunk, and try to pick up some ass. Overall, we had a great show there that night. Definitely one for the books. This was supposedly Krutch's last show, but I doubt it. They might di 1 more for their CD. Like i said, one of the best show in a while, despite the assholes at the end.

Dec. 4th DYSPHORIA PINK DAFFODILS STRENGTH FOR A REASON NEW DIRECTION
This show was at Club Bizmo's in Stroudsburg, P.A. First up we had New Direction, I think that is their name. Anyway, it was their first show, and they sounded great. They were along the lines of Gorilla-Biscuts and everyone seemed to like them alot. Next up was Strength For a Reason. We played a great set. There weren't that many singalongs because we were really new to this area, but our friends kept it goin. Alot of people were dancin it up too. Next up was Pink Daffodils. They were a Christian band which was cool. It s good to finally see a religous band instead of all these trendy 666 satan people. Thats the biggest joke ever. Anyway, this band sounded like a girnd core band. There singer was a girl and she was screaming at the top of her lungs. Even though the sound system sucked, you could still here her real good. They were pretty good. Lastly was none other than Dysphoria. These guys were great. Everyone was goin nuts. it was funny because most of the crowd at this place were real young kids. It was cool to see younger kids keepin the hardcore spirit goin in their scene. The singalongs were great too. Everyone had a great time. Its a cool club, but its kinda small. I think in the future, they are going to fix up the upstairs and make it into the permanent show place. Its pretty big up there, so that will be cool. Overall, this show was great. The kids were cool and made you feel real welcome. So were even asking the bands for autographs which was funny, but it made us feel good. Hope we can play there again real soon.

Dec. 3rd UNDERDOG 25 TA LIFE
SOUL-SICK STRENGTH FOR A REASON REBOUND
This show was at Sea Sea's in Moosic, P.A. First of all I was really dissapointed with the turnout at this show. It was the first time that Underdog was probably ever in our area, and hardly anyone was there. I guess they are not poppy-punky enough or somethin. Anyway, first up was Rebound. These gus were pretty good. They sound a little like Krutch, and they have a real good following. Alot of people liked these guys, and they put on a good show, so if you can get out to see them, go support em! Next up was Strength For A Reason. Our old guitarist, Ed, was back from college, and he played bass for us. I think we played a good set. There were alot of kids dancin, which is always a good thing to see when you are in a band. Alot of kids sang along and showed us support. It was a great show for us. Next up was Soul Sick. I had never seen these guys before, and i was impressed. I really thought that they were good. From what I can remember, there music was pretty hard. Definitely a band to check out! Next up was supposed to be 25 ta life, but Rick's dad got in a bad car crash, so they didn't show. Finally, it was time for Underdog. I though that these guys played really well, but I was expecting more excitement and enthusiasm from them. Not to be mean, but it was sort of boring until they broke out with the song BACK TO BACK. Everyone went nuts for this one! Kids climbing on the ceiling, people pileing on each other to get to the mic, it was crazy. Overall, the show was great. I had fun, and I know everyone else did too.
