Thesis Guidelines
Don't say:
"Because the original data did not give us the expected answer, we threw out data until we got the answer we wanted."Instead say:
"Exploratory estimates yielded unclustered results. However, closer scrutiny of the original data suggested that, in all probability, some of the data came from a different population.
