Get paid to surf the web. These programs usually involve downloading and running software that loads advertising banners while you surf the web or use your computer. All programs pay a small cash or points amount for every hour spent actively using the program. Extra payments can be earned, usually through referring others. Some companies also allow you to earn by reading advertising emails.

Load advertising banners with the ProfitZone while you are online. You don't have to be actively surfing to use this one, but pay rates are low - around 10 cents per hour for April.

GoToWorld

Run the GotoWorld software while you have an active net connection with activity at least every five minutes. The bar is stable and accounts hours accurately, and they pay 10 cents an hour for unlimited usage.

Accepting only Australian and New Zealand users at the moment, Pocketscreen also plan to pay $1.00 an hour for up to 20 hours use a month.

Run the GetPaid4 viewbar and earn 48 cents an hour for viewing ads while surfing the net. The maximum number of hours per month is 75.

An Australian program that accepts international members, you can download and start using the Viewbox now. Surf2Web say they will pay 60 cents per hour initially and more for referrals.

Earn up to $1 an hour for running the pIggy minibrowser. Earn money while chatting or sending email - you don't have to be actively surfing. Valuepay is not fully available yet.

Spedia

Hourly payments for using Spedia range between 45 and 50 cents an hour. You must be actively surfing to earn, and this one won't run with other paybars.

Earn points which can be cashed in for running the viewbar. In future points will be offered for playing games and filling out surveys. Recent pay rates were around 11 cents an hour.

Another of the load-advertising-banners-and-get-paid programs, Epipo pays a base rate of US60 cents an hour and 10 cents an hour per referral. Open to non US-residents.

A new viewbar that is currently collecting users to be paid for surfing the web. The software is not yet available for download, a pay rate of 50 cents an hour is promised in future.
