Mrs. Annie Wilson, of Elmore, Ottawa County, Ohio, died in the seventy-third year of her age with congestion of the lungs, September 16, 1885. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, in 1812. Mrs. Wilson's maiden name was Craig, and she was a sister of the late Lewis Craig. She came to Galetown when thirteen years of age, her parents living on the farm owned now by Mr. Betts. She was married and moved to Elmore in 1830.
She was the mother of eleven children, eight of whom are now living, four at Elmore, three at Monroe, Mich. and one at Toledo. She was a loving mother, and died in the full assurance of meeting loved(ones) on the other shore.
She wished sung at her funeral "Asleep in Jesus," which wish was complied with. She had been a member of the M.E. Church for many years. She leaves many friends to mourn her loss - Clyde Enterprise.
