| The Wu-Tang Clan was formed in 1992 and have been busily producing phat joints for the rap community to devour ever since. They were one of the first few rap groups to claim Staten Island, New York, more commonly known as Shaolin, a name coined by the Wu. The Wu started with an original eight core members, all shown below, with Master Killer considered a "9th" member. Altho these nine members make up the original Wu-Tang Clan, there are many other "family" members affiliated with the Wu who are individual rappers. These and additional non-rap members make the Wu-Tang Clan approximately 400 strong. |
