Spring 2003

I'm about 4 or 5 weeks into the 2nd semester and am doing good. My classes are definately more challenging than last semester's but my drive to succeed is just as strong. Within the next few weeks I should hopefully hear back from the National Severe Storms Center in Oklahoma about a summer internship, and by next month the National Weather Service in Mount Holly will let me know what my plans are for the summer. I want the one in Oklahoma soo bad but it's tough competition. I found out that they only take 10 students from around the nation for the internships. There was a girl from Millersville who did it last year so hopefully that will give me an edge over some of the other students. Also, about 3 weeks ago on my trip to Long Beach, Cali with Shawn I met the lady who is in charge of choosing who the summer interns will be in Oklahoma. I have to say that was definately cool. Besides the interships, I'm just keeping my mind on school. Unfortunately, when I came back this semester my roomate apparently dropped out of Millersville. And on his way out he decided to (borrow) my TV and desklamp, the jackass. Man was that guy full of shit. Thankfully the school paired me up with an awesome guy, Carl and we have been getting along good. Also, I've got some great friends here in the Ville. Even though school is important, i still need a crew of friends to keep my sanity and sense of humor. I've even gotten a chance to see some of the home and Scranton crew which didn't happen much last semester. Last weekend I took a road trip up to Scranton and stopped at home to see the fam and pick up Mike. Man has our (Puppy) Maggie gotten huge. She's almost a full-grown dog. Too bad they won't let us keep dogs in the dorm for even just a couple of days. She would love it up here and I'd probably pick up some chicks cause Maggie is so damn cute. Well, thats about all for now. Maybe I'll get back into the routine of updating this site, but this is good enough. Every now and then I'll throw some new pics on the frontpage and I guess I could get some better links up there...8^)...Ev

Journal 03/02/03

This weekend went by fast, but that doesnt mean I sat on my ass and watch it go by. Friday night was brutal and I slept most of the time except for when I watched a movie with Tracy. Saturday I worked all day and then we headed over to Kristin's for a shindig. That lasted till 3 or 4 am and we ended staying up late in Lenhart. I got some work done today and am ready to start this schoolweek...8^)...Ev
