its one of those virtual pets you can look after. Leave it running while you're doing something else if I were you.

Another Virtual Pet

this is another one, but it hasslightly better  graphics than the one above, but less control  over your pet. Oh yeah, it lives by itself even when the computers off so unless you use your computer every day I'd reccomend setting the clock time of the pet to 0 before logging off. So you dont start the day checking emails to find a corpse of a loved pet.
