I'm 22, male and living in Surrey, England. However since 1 February '99 I have been in the Old City of Jerusalem, Israel, studying at Aish HaTorah Yeshiva. I will be returning to England for two weeks at Succot so I look forward to seeing all of you that I know from England at that time. Judaism plays a lagre role in my life but my main hobby is computers and occasionally write poetry.
I went to the Jews Free School (JFS) in Camden Town, London, where I took Maths (Statistics), Physics and Economics at A-Level. As I was doing very badly at Economics I took it January '99 rather than summer '98 (on time). For the A-Levels I took summer '98 I got a B for Maths and a B for Physics which I'm very pleased with. I also passed Economics and got a C for it. These grades were enough for the course at Liverpool University to read Maths and Computer Science that I had applied for but since I decided to spend an extra year in Yeshiva I have had to let this place lapse. I intend applying for September 2000 entry but do not know where I will apply yet.
I enjoy listening to mostly chart music, although having been away from England since February I almost completely out of touch with the UK charts. I mainly listen to whatever is on the radio. When I'm in England I listen to Capital FM who broadcast over the net as well. Click here to listen (May not work, I am looking into it) if you have Real Audio installed. I also like going to the cinema. I'm not the greatest of sports fan and don't play any sports or watch many however I usually watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix here too I am a bit out of touch with the latest news.
However the one sure way to find out what's really going on in my head is to read some of my poetry.
