H T M L : Step by Step with ME

Dear all of my friends... This following page is the way I start to create my page... It might not help U if U are a HTML master already... but if U struck in some tag or some situation, this would help U .... it won't be complete yet because My knowledge is not complete as well. Hey this step by step is base on HTML 2 ( and a little 3 ) so it might not contain some of new feature of HTML 3.02 ( latest released ). Anyway I will updated myself soon so I will add more tag with HTML 3.02 real soon after I understand ‘em.

All HTML files NEED this

This is an very very simple HTML source code. Just this required tag U can create your html file!!!!!! But it will not looking well because it is simple !!! U will know how to make it good-looking later on… (don’t forget that this is my page so it will good looking in my sigh).

From my experience with 2 browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator. Both of them are not required " … " tag , I don’t know why but I might cause something in another browser who knows…. U’d better keep it (for me, I never write HEAD tag down because since I write all HTML myself I forget it!!! and all my HTML still worked well so I think it is not necessary to fixed it). The Rest of a tag here, U must keep it and write it all correctly to keep your page appear correctly. I didn’t explain what is it because it show its situation by a straight meaning tag already and U can’t do anything about it anyway except which I explain down there already.

Before moving to next section here is a very useful attribute for BODY TAG ( I don’t know where I can place it so I think I might better to place it here ). Body tag is one of structure tag so U can’t take it out of your page, never. In the other hand BODY tag can create a lot of thing with its attribute. Mention that all attribute will place at an open tag, mostly all tag use this form so a close tag is still look simple like this , Let’s start learning about HTML BODY ( TAG ) !!!

Background Color will paint a color on your page, whole page so it quite useful when U don’t have an image to place on your background, one advantage for Background color is it load very fast, due to it’s plain color (like mine). Mention ‘#’ symbol? It’s a hex number symbol so U must transfer a RGB color to hex number first or another alter is plain color ( !?!), more information at Format Section.

U can post your image to the background like window background, It will automatically tiles an image for U. Remember that a very simple and wide used image format is Jpeg and Gif so your image must safe in this two format, if not some browser will not except it and will not showed your image.

There are 3 kinds of Link Attributes for HTML.

>
1. Link : Normally it showed the link that U never visited when U visit that linked page it will turn to Vlink.
   
2. VLink : Visited Link, visited link color will show after your first access to that page so I will not turn back to a link color unless your computer forgot that page already (technically, catch is deleted).
   
3. Alink : Active Link, will appear when U r accessing that link so it will appear just a little while, then of course turned to Vlink.

……Alink is not quite important like other link: link and Vlink. They will indicated that how many page (normally within that site) which U didn’t access yet so it is easy to search on but some site will not make a different to there text so U have to find it yourself.

One useful hint is U can pack them together with one BODY tag so it will look like this

This is a true example so U can view this page the way it was by this source code!!! Well simply turn Background to image by remove bgcolor="#CCCCFF"> and place an image, for example
