Poetry:

Just A Friend - By Da_Original1

If you could only look through my eyes and see what I See Do you know what it's like to be "Just a Friend"?

You are there to pick up the pieces of her broken heart There to lend your shoulder to cry on

When the going got tough you was there to help her along When she was back on her feet,
It was you who was cried another sad love song.

She looks at you with confidence
For it's the quality that she wishes he possessed
She loves everything about your style
But with superficiality she's still obsessed

You feel that she is the great one
So you proceed to win her heart with caution
It's a double edge sword to tell her how you feel
Friendships are won and lost on this sort of thing for real!

So it's back to the dilemma at hand
Should I let her know she's wifey type
Or should I continue to be "Just a Friend"?

You - By Da_original1

As I begin to contemplate this man woman thing
The graceful image of you fills the thoughts in my head

The feelings that I have for you is more than just a crush, I like your honesty, integrity, sincerity, femininity, and I want to gain your trust

Its not even a about the physical
Its more about the mental
Me being with you is even more monumental

So lets build this thing together
Turn this house into a home
To stand the test of time

Precious Gem - By Da_Original1

Every jeweler strives to polish stones into perfection
All flaws, to be masked by molding convections
An unflawed gem is a much more precious commodity
Its brilliance is for the world to see

You see you are not just an ordinary stone
Whose surface is shaped to mask any flaw
You, to me are unflawed in so many ways

When I look into your gaze
Their sparkle leaves me in a daze
Your smile lasts longer than the month of May
Your brilliance lasts for 365 days
Like diamonds, you are forever

You shine your light for the world to see
Can you shine your light for just me?
