Hi! My name is Marianne ( how did I get my nickname? ) and my personality traits do reflect those of my sign of the zodiac even though I'll only admit to the positive traits. If you haven't fiqured it out yet, I love hummingbirds and sunflowers! I have expressed my love for hummingbirds through my body art and my kitchen is filled with sunflowers. I've even attempted to grow sunflowers, but I can't keep the squirrels from eating them! Every gift I receive has something to do with hummingbirds, sunflowers or suns! So, this year I decided it was time to start collecting something new!



After falling in love with the photo on a virtual card I received, I decided to start collecting items with photos from Kim Anderson's Pretty As A Picture collection. I love long-stemmed red roses, and some of her nostalgic portraits capture the beauty of the red rose.


I lived in the Berkshires most of my life, where every season has something to offer. In the summer, enjoy a concert at Tanglewood; In the fall, enjoy the beauty of the fall folliage and visit the Hancock Shaker Village; In the winter hit the slopes at Jiminy Peak and Brodie Mountain or nearby Stratton Mountain in Southern Vermont; In the spring, visit the Norman Rockwell Museum or hike Mt. Greylock.

I'm not very good at talking about myself. So, after being asked by people I meet online to tell them a little about myself, I decided to do a page about me. But, that's enough about me - hope I didn't bore you too much! :)
