chat in a variety of chat rooms where you're displayed as an avatar (see examples below) and the conversations are displayed from each avatar in the chat room and on the chat screen
play gestures from your gesture pallet - you can only hear and see the animation of the gestures other users send in the chat room if you have it in your pallet - if you think you'll like one from reading the words on the chat screen, ask the user if you can have it and they will send you the file
send instant messages (ims) privately - even to users not in the same chat room - just locate and send an im
go on tour - climb on board a tour avatar (see example below) with other users and chat while visiting websites together
