Tour Stop 5
The Rec Room
This room is only open to the public once or twice a year, and if we're lucky, today will be one of those days. Stay here for a moment, while I go check and see if we can go through.
Thank you for being so patient. We can go through the
rec room, and it turns out that both of our designers are inside, taking
a break. They're willing to sign autographs, and answer questions, so if
you'll follow me inside.....
On your right, next to the projection TV, are the prized
possessions of hte two designers-the actual tweed jacket outfit that Scully
wore in "The Pilot," and her 1939 dress from "Triangle" there in the glass
case. On the other side of the TV is the locked cabenit where we keep all
of our X-files tapes. We have all the episodes on tape, and then all the
shows that refer to the X-files on tape. It's one of the more esxtensive
collections in the country. On the right wall there is one of Kate's
"Joke" designs, this one for what she called "Cyber Scully" She claims
it came out of a night where she went from watching "Kill Switch" to being
forced by her dad to watch Star Trek, in which she likes the Borg, and
ONLY the Borg. I say DEATH to all Trekkies, DEATH!

Now, what was I saying? Oh yes. In the middle of the
floor here is the hot tub, watch your step, and over in the opposite corner
are the two hammocks where our designers can catch a few zz's. Over along
the left wall is the snack bar, and oh! Here are our two designers now.

over here.
