January
1 , 2007:
It
was 10 years ago today that I launched my web site...I find it hard to
believe it's been that long! It seems like it was just recently that I
hit the five-year mark...time sure flies! To
"celebrate", I've done just a brief update this time...the addition
of photos from the "23rd National Clogging Convention"
in Phoenix, Arizona to the Clogging
Scrapbook.
Also,
because Yahoo! Photos offers unlimited space, I'm now able to retain photos
in the Clogging Scrapbook for more than the previous five years. I plan
to gradually convert my current photos to albums on Yahoo!, as well as
add the prior years' photos that were previously available on my site.
I will keep you updated on any additions via this "What's New"
page, or you can join my Update
List to receive an e-mail when updates are made.

January 1, 2005:
After nearly three years of inactivity, my web site has finally gotten
a much needed overhaul! The original theme for my site was "fun and
Floridian", but after eight years, it was definitely time for a change.
My new design is clean and simple (for now), but I'm hoping it will make
for easier navigation as well as easier maintenance.
Along
with the new look comes several changes, mostly to my Clogging
page:
- I
removed several features that were either underutilized or too difficult
for me to maintain with my busy lifestyle. While the clogging instructor/group
index, upcoming events calendar, forum and chat room will no longer
appear on my site, these services can be found on other
clogging sites.
- Due
to visitor interest and web space considerations, my Clogging
Scrapbook will now feature photos only from recent events (five
years to the present).
- My
clogging cue sheets will now be
offered in Microsoft Word format instead of HTML (you may continue to
see a few cue sheets in HTML until I'm able to convert them all to Word).
Also, the list of routines is now comprehensive and reflects every workshop
routine I've choreographed, with the cue sheets being added as I'm able
to convert them.
- The
new feature that took the most work (besides the redesign) and what
I'm most proud of with this update is my Clogging
Resources page, which includes a Frequently
Asked Questions list that I hope will provide timely information
as well as reduce the number of e-mails I receive so that I have more
time to respond to more involved e-mails.
Lastly,
I have a new Update List available through Yahoo! Groups, so if you'd
like to receive notices when I update my site, please join
this new list (I'm "starting from scratch" and the addresses
listed on my old Update Mailing List have been deleted).
I
invite you to explore my new site and hope that you enjoy your visit.
Please feel free to send me your comments so that I can continue to make
improvements.
Happy
New Year!
Kelli
