Our school is on of the biggest in Scarborough and that means that we're good at a lot of things. My senior boys volleyball team got to the final in 1997 but lost. In 1997, all three girls volleyball teams, Bantam, Senior and what I coached, Junior won Scarboroughs. In 1998 we weren't so lcuky as even thoughwe had a better team we didn't win Scarboroughs. For info about our school rugby team please see the Rugby Page. We won some other things that I don't remember at the moment.
Our greatest triumph came in Football. Lead by Canada's #1 Football prospect, running-back Daharran Diedrick(He's at Nebraska now), we creamed everyone in Scarborough and went on to the biggest high school tournament THE METRO BOWL. Me and 4 of my friends painted our faces and our bodies to spell out C O L T S. SEE PIC BELOW!!! We had a really good time. Everything was going alright against our oponents, Nelson, in the Bowl Final until, with a minute to go a play is called to throw the ball and our quarter-back threw an interception. Nelson Scored on the ensuing drive. It was a heartbreaker, but being the great fan that we are we still gave our team a standing ovation for their efforts. Maybe this year!!!
I'm in my last year at Cedarbrae and through the year I've been in a lot of things. Rugby, volleyball, skiing, curing, tennis, golf, C.A.A. (Cedarbrae Athletic Association), band, CDC (Cedarbrae Drama Collective, and this year I'm on the SAC (Student Adminisrative Council). There are some pics below of the second musical I've been in called "Brigadoon" It's a scottish play so that's why I'm wearing the kilt. In my grade 9 year I was in "Fiddler on the Roof" and I this year I played the part of Pierre in THE BOYFRIEND. I had a lot of fun doing that show. Hopefully I'll get some pics of that scanned in soon.
