I have been thinking about it, and I decided that all of those "Send me a dollar" sites are just a waste of time. I actually want to get some money out of this project, so I developed this, the Send Me Thirty Thousand Dollars homepage.

Let's just assume for a second that someone who really enjoys sending strangers money logs onto your average "Send me a dollar" homepage. That homepage's webmaster will become one dollar richer. Now, let's assume that the very same person logs onto the Send Me Thirty Thousand Dollars homepage. It does not take a math major to figure out that I will do a considerable bit better with this venture than the first webmaster. Makes sense, doesn't it?

If you send me Thirty Thousand Dollars (which is sort of what you're expected to do at this site), you will be allowed to put any message you wish (20 characters or less) on this homepage, which gets about 10 hits every few months! Too good to be true, isn't it?

For security reasons, I would prefer if you did not send Thirty Thousand Dollars in the mail. Rather, please E-Mail me at sweetthames@yahoo.com so that we can arrange a neutral meeting place.

Although I haven't gotten any cash so far, I have gotten some interesting responses. (I finally added the responses from about the last six months.)
