-Campfire
safety tips |
|
1. Never build
a campfire where it can spread. Never build under overhanging limbs,
rotten stumps or old logs.
2. Never stack firewood too close to where you are going to build your
campfire.
3. Have some water and a shovel close by in case things get out of hand.
4. Keep campfires on the small side, they are easier to control.
5. Don't leave any campfire unattended.
6. When leaving camp, douse the campfire with water until you are sure
it's out.
7. Be careful with stoves and lanterns, always let them cool before
refueling or storing.
8. Always be aware of the posted fire danger.
9. Last but not least, "A little common sense goes a long
way". |
