Gozo, a small island just three miles off Malta, is still practically unspoilt and a truly peaceful and tranquil island.........
Gozo, 9 miles by 4, a small island, where one can find a different environment from that of its siter island Malta, as well as that found in Europe. Gozo's capital town is Victoria locally known as Rabat. Victoria is very much a mixutre of the old and new. It is dominated by the ancient Citadel, with its impressive bastions and narrow winding streets. Looking at such character, legends and history, one can understand more the island of Gozo. Gozo lace and other artifacts locally created can be seen not only in shops but also being manufactured.
The seaside villages as well as beaches are surrounded by the warm deep blue Mediterranean sea; Xlendi Bay, Mgarr Harbour, Dwejra (Inland Sea), Ramla Bay (Red Sand Beach), and MARSALFORN BAY.
