Tell a story

I got a really short but amusing story to share. I come straight outta milwaukee wi, sad I know, but we gotta pretty good scene goin on cause we got all the chicago kids, madison kids, detroit and st. louis kids helpin us out. Anyways the piont of the story is I went to a little party in sheboygan falls(so small that you need a map to find it) called Circle set up by Particular Malfunction. All our parties lately have been in sports complexes, warehouses, and roller rings, and thats pretty much what we expected. When we got there we noticed an usually high number of cops hanging around. We walked around to the door where all the people were lined up and above the door, in big letters read, "Sheboygan Falls municipal Police dept." Yeah you read that right the party was in a the police station, and you know what it was one of the better parties I have ever been to. I candy-flipped and the cops that were there either didn't care or were doin the same. We even got a few of the to join the par ty and dance. It was insane. The moral of the story is don't judge a book by its cover. A party is a party no matter where the venue is.

i am going to tell you how i fell in love with JuNgLe. I went to my first rave in August of '96..."The Sunrise Festival" in Baltimore. Didnt know what to expect.I was hanging out in the jungle room...took E for the first time. The moment when i fell in love was when i think DB was spinning and he played "Here Comes The Sun" ....the sun was rising and the MC was rappin in a British accent.."Thank you for coming to the sunrise festival...as we watch the sun rise"...and then all i heard was the song.."here comes the sun..doodoodoo..here comes the sun...ill say..its alright ..doodoodoodoo" And then the jungle came in soooooooo HARD and i nearly had a F*cking heart attack. And that was basically the best moment of my entire life. All in all....JuNgLe is 'da BomB. Thank you for listening.

i partied all weekend with some close friends of mine. at the third (and last) party of the weekend, my friend Cathy decided that she wanted to check out the jungle room. I got her addicted to jungle about a month or two ago and since she started listening to it, she hasn't had the opportunity to dance to it at a party. that changed fast. she was in the room for about 10 minutes, just trying to pick up the vibe and out of nowhere, she starts up woth some real nice hardstep. after awhile, she had people coming up and complimenting her for that. since she's usually in a bad mood (not her fault), it was nice to see her smiling and concentrating on the music and the dancing instead of what people think. it really let her take her best moves to the floor. but that's not the end of the story. after we wandered around in the main room for a while, she asked me to go back to the jungle room with her. after getting inside and heading back to where we were dancing before, she starts to break! i've seen her mess around before, pull off a couple moves and then go back to hardstep, but this time she stayed down and within 10 minutes of starting up, she had a circle of people watching. i can't even say how impressed i was, or how well her style fit the music that was played. and even more impressive is the fact that she was the only girl i saw breaking in the jungle room. (i'm sure there were others, but...)

Leave a story at the table!
