Winnie-the-Pooh
and me
My parents started my
collection and love with pooh as I have with my nephew, Bret. I got my first
pooh when I was a baby. He was my first best friend. I carried him around forever,
of course he didn't look the same after 18 years he looked a little rough. My
personal pooh that I affectionately called "Poohbe" had lost its nose and eyes.
He had been sewn many times and had even been restuffed. So he was pretty tattered
never the less he was my favorite of my entire collection. Unfortunately Poohbe
was stolen from me my loving sister wasted no time to try to find a replacement.
At one time I had with my collection of bears a nice collection of poohs. I
even made a flower hanging with a hunny pot, bees, sunflowers and
most importantly Pooh as the subject. With my divorce I unfortunately walk away
with very little and with my fiance am rebuilding my collection. I have collected
everything from cloths, hats, earrings, pins, necklaces, ceramics, tins, calanders,
stuffed poohs and toys.On of our family trips to Disney World I circle the park
in search of Pooh but only got to see him at the parade. I was so disappointed
for me a trip to disney isn't complete with out a hug from pooh. My sister,
Cherri made a complaint and arranged for pooh to send me this...
This is me and my sister at
Disney...
She's my Tigger and Eeyore
in one. I love her very much.
Pooh has his own little cornor in
my home and my heart....
