I received this "Holding Hands" URL from my friend, Glenda, and
I can't thank her enough for sharing this with me. *hug*...
It was one of the most touching pictures that I have ever seen
and stories that I have ever read - which I immediately shared
with my daughter, Pat and have since shared with my daughter, Ang,
who asked that I send the URL to her after hearing of it.

This URL shows the miracle of life and how the far the advances
in medical technology have come. It not only shows the heartbreak
parents endure in painful decisions facing them and their unborn
child's future and the courage they endured, but also the joy of
a miracle bestowed upon them in the birth of their son, Samuel,
after a successful operation performed during the 21st week after
his conception. This URL also deals with the issue of abortion.

Although I personally am "pro-life" as I could never choose
"abortion" as a choice for myself had the question ever arose
in my life, I still have always been an advocate for "pro-choice",
since I do not believe in our government getting involved in our
freedoms of choice - I feel that this should stay a personal choice
and not a governmental one.

However, even though I am "pro-choice" as far as legislation goes,
I do believe the private community should have every right in
fighting abortion in any positive way they see fit. This URL is
a perfect example of how we, as human beings, can change people's
viewpoints on abortion without government intervention. I have
seen many other pictures and read many other stories, but none have
ever touched me like this story has. It had a profound effect on me,
as I believe it will on anyone who views it.

I was so touched by this URL that I have decided to create this web
page here on my website linking back to it. If it will help just
one person, it will be worth the time it took me to create it.
Thanks again, Glenda, for sharing it with me.

Love and *hugs*,

Mae
