This takes a little while to load but it is a good overview of Great Salt Lake and its place in Utah as
seen from space. USU Dept. of Geography. Digital Elevation Map of Utah & Great Salt
This is a neat view but it takes a little while to load. Base relief map with landforms (geomorphology)

Map of The Great Salt Lake Drainage Basin The Great Salt Lake is a system of wetlands and waterways that feed into it and keep it alive. Its important to see the Great Salt Lake
as a drainage basin of some considerably larger area. The Great Salt Lake does not exist apart from this. Interest in preseving the lake will naturally extend out toward
preserving the basin and the rivers it depends on. Satellite Radar Image: Wasatch Front & Edge of The Great Salt Lake Another important view that shows pretty well the uban
sprawl that is taking place at the edge of the lake. To preserve the quality of life along the Wasatch front is to preserve the lake system whose shores it sprawls upon. Here is
a good description of the map. NASA. Geologic Map of Antelope Island From the Greater Salt Lake Ecosystem.
Map of Ancient Lake Bonneville & Great Salt Lake A good view of the extent of Ancient Lake Bonneville from
Pleistocene times of which Great Salt Lake is only a small remnant. Genevieve Atwood & Dan Mabey, USGS Map from Greater Salt Lake Ecosystem.
Map of Historic High, Low, and Average Levels of The Great Salt Lake Areal extent, elevation, volume, and maximum depth of Great Salt Lake at historic high, low and average water-levels. It is natural for
the lake to fluctuate with rainfall and snowpack. Generalized Geologic Map of Utah Showing the relative ages of the rock/sediment in Utah of which the Great Salt Lake and Vicinity is the most recent (Quaternary).
Utah Geologic Survey. Earthshots: Landsat Images Through Time Here are some Landsat images from 1963, 1972, and 1987 to show the dramatic changes in a relatively short time due to natural
