| Anchor Boys is the name of the youngest
age group is Boys Brigade and is for boys aged 5 to 7. As
a member of Anchor Boys you will get to meet with other
boys your own age to play games, learn new skills and
make many new friends. As a member of Anchor Boys you will get to wear a smart uniform consisting of a cap, t-shirt and shorts. In Anchor Boys you will be well looked
after as all Boys Brigade Officers are trained. The
Officers will organise many fun and interesting
activities for you which include :
Anchor Boys also have the oppurtunity to go on excursions and BBQ's and also to invite their parents along for special Parent/Son activities. When he is older he can join No.1 Section (8-11 years) and then progress to No.2 Section (teenagers 12-18 years). In these age groups he'll go camping and bushwalking, learn first-aid and safety skills, participate in many different activities including gymnastics and sports or maybe even try his hand at abseiling or canoeing. During his membership of The Boys Brigade he will also be taught Christian values and self-respect and develop a strength of character which will remain with him for life. He'll never know how much he can do, how far he can go, unless he joins The Boys Brigade...What a Way to Grow! |
