BANOFFI BABE
Gary Barlow was born on Thanks Giving day, in England,
so you can be sure that he was well on time for a hearty
lunch. His father was a well known musician, who went by
the name of Elton John. His other father, George, by name,
was the proud owner of the Cadburys factory in
Manchester. Gary was gifted with the brilliant musical
talent of Elton, and a unique love for Cadburys chocolate.
Elton would spend hours teaching Gary to play the piano
and sing with a voice as powerfull as 5 Baileys and as sweet
as a bowl of cream. George would spend time with Gary in
the kitchen, teaching him to cook scrummy meals, and even
scrummier puddings!! One day, George tought Gary how to
make the ultimate desert, a secret desert, that had been
passed down from father to son for many generations. It
was called... "Banoffi Pie". When George tought Gary how
to make this wonderfull creation, Gary was over-whelmed
by the sweet, sugary, teantilising taste and vowed that
never before had his taste buds tingeled in such a blissful
way. Gary knew that this secret was just too good to keep,
for Gary was generous man and liked to share the joys of
cooking with as many people as possible. It just so
happened that a man by the name of Nigel Martin-Smith
was a lover of music, and after seeing a concert starring
Elton, asked Elton if by any chance he would come and
work for him. Elton refused politely, as he was very content
working on his own. But he told Nigel of his son, and how he
too, was a musical genius. Nigel came to meet Gary and
asked to hear him sing. Gary obliged ans Nigel was
astounded by the sheer skill of Gary and begged him to
come and work for him. Gary agreed, because he could see
now, that this would be the one sure way of sharing his
knowledge of Banoffi Pie with the rest of the world. He met
up with four other men and together they danced, sang and
shared the secret of Banoffi.
Naturally, that's how it began.
