"CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

Listen! Can you hear me? Tho my voice is silent,
My mind, my heart and my soul are speaking.
Come closer and hear my silent prayer from
Deep within to know what I am seeking.
You have to get past the multitude of scars,
Mountain of pain and river of tears.
To see my past that over time has intensified
And magnified all of my fears.
Speak to me tenderly, look softly into my
eyes and touch me ever so gently.
Then close your eyes, listen and feel the
message I am sending silently.
If you can feel and understand when my
mind, my heart and my soul are speaking.
Then do not leave...help me ease or erase the
bad times, for it is you I am seeking!!!

"TAKE MY HAND"

Look at this face, see this smile,
I am happy and carefree,
Look into my eyes, read what's in them
And you can see right thru me.
Hear me talk and listen to the confidence that pours out,
But listen closely and you will hear my inner most thoughts shout.
It is just a mask, a cover up, a facade to keep all from seeing,
That I am afraid of openning up and that I am a very lonely being.
Listen and you'll be able to hear every lonely fiber in my body roar,
Waiting for someone special to say
"Here take my hand, you're not alone anymore!"

I Am Nothing

I sometimes wonder if you realize just how deeply I care for you,
You are the one person I cherish most above all others.
I enjoy your company and your sweet considerate ways,
I love the way you smile, the little things you say and do.
Just to hear your voice, to hear your laughter, makes me happy.
Even just knowing you are close, or in the very same room,
Gives me the ultimate feelings far beyond all expectations.
I sometimes feel as though I am you and you are me,
Our love is as precious as it is rare, without you I am nothing.
I find that unless I can share some little part of my life with you...
I TRULY AM NOTHING !!!

My Elusive One

Where are you my elusive one,
Where can you be?
The one that is meant to share
This very life with me.
Why must it be that very
Same old tune?
Alone in the dark, no light,
Not even a moon.
Oh! my elusive one,
Please hearken unto me.
Make yourself be known,
Please listen to my gentle plea.
Let me gaze upon your beauty,
Let me touch you tenderly.
Feel those warm emotions being
Sent to you from me.
Where are you my elusive one,
Where can you be...?

Tattered Dreams

Where there was once a beautiful sculptured lawn
Weeds now overcome the lush green grass.
Flowering bushes that surrounds this once proud
Home has been smothered and ceased to be.
Everything surrounding this once articulate home is
Slowly being taken over by weeds.
Even the house, not long ago bursting with life is
A mere decaying shell slowly deteriorating.
The house echoes in it's emptiness sitting lifeless,
The rotting boards, peeling paint and broken windows.
Trash is strewn from room to room, curtains torn,
Graffiti adorns the walls leaving no space unmarked.
Yet among all the garbage there is a whisper of memories
Buried among all that trash and emptiness. Life, love once blossomed here, but somehow has faded
Into oblivion, into yesterdays dreams.
Where is it now? All the life, love and dreams are gone,
Only the memories of what was lingers on...
