Yes, in 1997/1998 there was another world wide tour with the Rolling Stones. They have also been touring in Europe and gave a first concert in Sweden at Ullevi in Gothenburg on July 31:st 1998. Do I have to tell you that I was there?

Because of the great interest and enthusiastic fans in Sweden they also decided to make a second concert here. This time in Stockholm on September 8:th in Stockholm Globe Arena. This is an indoor arena right in my neighbourhood (15 minutes walk from home), and I naturally went to that concert too.

The Bridges to Babylon tour was officially announced on the web in live video at Mediadome. I tried of course to watch the press conference live on my computer. It was possible to see the crowd waiting for them under the Brooklyn Bridge (which I personally passed by boat this summer on my vacation to the United States). I saw them arriving in an open limousine (red, not black) and then entering the stage.

Then all hell break loose on the web and everything just froze. I tried to restart the movie player a couple of times without success. Finally after twenty minutes the pictures started rolling again, but then they had left. That's online live video on the net for you!

At the end of 1998 they released a live album from the Babylon Tour called 'No Security'. Then in 1999 they continued touring, now under the name No Security Tour.
