You're probably wondering
what this is all about, well here's the deal: there's a
war going on, right here, right now. And maybe you don't even know about it. I'm not talking about a war fought between nations, but a spiritual war. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." -Ephesians 6:12 There's a war going on, and I'm not just sitting on the sidelines. I'm out there on the battlefield and I have a
mission.
You see, my goal in this world is not to gain material, worldly things, such as money, "success," a comfy living..., but I am here to
serve a God that I love. My goal is to live a life of
humbleness and purity, obeying my Father in heaven, which in a world so full of selfishness and pride is a tough thing to do. "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." -Romans 12:2 It's not an easy thing to do, but I try my best.
Phillippians 3:14 says "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." This prize isn't something worldly, but something that's
going to last for eternity. [I Corinth. 9:24-27] FOREVER. It's a long time. Where are you going to spend eternity? It's a big thing to decide. I pray you join the winning side.
