Here is one of my main live setups. Simple but VERY effective:

1975 Stratocaster (Maple Neck/Stock parts) -->
1980 Ibanez TS-808 -->
Reissue Ibanez TS-9 -->
1959 (reissue) Fender Bassman

Guitar Settings: All knobs on 10

Fender Bassman Settings:

Normal Input Number 1

Volume Input 1: 4 or louder
Volume Input 2: 0
Treble: 7 (5 w/humbuckers)
Midrange: 12
Bass: 12
Presence: 12

Ibanez TS-808 Settings:

Tone: 9 O'Clock
Dist: 3 O'Clock
Level: To match amp volume

Ibanez TS-9 Settings:

Tone: 9 O'Clock
Dist: 12 O'Clock
Level: Slightly higher than amp volume

Strings: D'Addario XL-115's .011-.049

Cables: Whirlwind


My secondary live setup consists of the following:

1963 Fender Stratocaster -->
HBE Power Screamer -->
Modded 1963 Fender Vibroverb

Guitar Settings: All knobs on 10

Fender Vibroverb Settings:

Normal Channel
Volume: 0
Treble: 0
Bass: 0

Bright Channel
Volume: 3 or higher. Sweet spot is at 6.
Treble: 5.5
Bass: 6
Reverb: 3

HBE Power Screamer Settings:

Diode Switch: Center
Tone: 11 O'Clock
Gain: 3 O'Clock
Level: To match amp volume

Strings: D'Addario XL-115's .011-.049

Cables: Whirlwind
