Formed in 1993, World Without End are a
rock/worship band based in the heart of East Anglia.
Over the years we have recorded four albums that have been reviewed in
the Cross Rhythms magazines, gaining scores from 8 to 10 out of 10, and
getting reviews such as “one of the best gigging bands in the UK” (Cross
Rhythms June/July 1998). This has led to gigs at Greenbelt and Cross
Rhythms events and many many more. We have had tracks played on UCB
Christian radio and numerous local radio stations including BBC Radio
Norfolk and BBC Humberside
The band has toured extensively; May 1997 saw a trip to Ireland playing
north and south of the border, including the famous “Eamon Dorans” in
Dublin’s Temple Bar; July !999 involved a festival and speaking
opportunity in Guernsey; 2001 saw a return trip to Cork, Ireland, at the
Bishop of Cork’s request. 2004 saw the band traveling to Ethiopia to
work with an SIM mission team reaching out to the street kids and HIV/AIDs
victims, using music as a way of crossing the cultural divide. 2006 is
proving to be just as busy and will include two appearances at this
years ‘Living Water’ which will include leading worship for the adult
event.
The band is actively involved in worship leading, outreach events and
more informal party events with many Churches, Chapels, and Christian
organisations, such as “Living Water”. We have recently launched a
series of bimonthly worship/praise events at our base church at Hopton
in Suffolk. World Without End also work with local communities playing
at carnivals, parties and schools etc.
World Without End believe that God gives gifts for a purpose and as such
they’ve sought to bring the Gospel through their music, wherever they
have been invited to play. Our mission is to use the ministry of music
to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to empower, enthuse, and
encourage.
High Street Chapel Hopton, Diss Christian Community Church, and
Battisford Free Church support the band’s ministry.
