VIC's Original Playbill Comments: "A month ago I read in the newspaper about some unpopular kids in, I dunno, Bumfuck, Minnesota, who were fantasizing about blowing up their school. Kids will be kids you say. I know, I know. Anyhow, their heinous crime-to-be never gat past the talking stage cause one kid overherd it and called the Bumfuck Minnesota police. Among the revelations they learned about these goth kids' fantasy world of gloom and doom was that they didn't get along with the cowboys at school who made fun of 'em.A large part of their detonation fantasy was blowing those yahoos sky high.
"That item gave me the idea for this schizophrenic show, Being something of a two-face myself, I could identify with going to such extremes as goth and country music for your listening pleasure, If Vic Masters & the Cabaret Revoltaire can bring two such warring factions together as Goth and Garth fans, well, we're doing a little something more than just entyertaining here. Country music, though the rarely the Garth kind, is just as obsessed with gloom and death as these Bela Lugosi wanna-bes. Just check out a Revenants show sometime. Enjoy tonight's dichotomy and be sure to tip Hank the MC Rooster. Your donations are his wages. Thanks."
OF NOTE: Vic perfomed 2 Goth songs, 2 country and so on. Very strange show but an appealing one. Hank the MC Rooster was actually pretty petrified during this set , sitting in a cage surrounded by candles. Vic wore those stupid headsets Garth does but they made too much noise rustling against his jacket. The set was cut by three songs (El Paso, Kissng Booth and Swiss Son of Man) to accomodate the late start.
