Thirty-five years of grazing,
Thirty-five years, amazing!

No other horse has worked so hard
To make life fun in the highest regard
For generations long and short
At the given cue, didst neigh and snort.

The children hesitated to near your creature,
But gentleness and patience is the finest feature
To entertain the little sprites
Not a chance that this one bites!

Dobbin, I remember when I was three and four
Riding me around was your least pleasant chore.
But faithful you were-to the very end
Thank you for being the Thomas farm's best friend.
