Date of birth: January 11, 1968
He also was born and raised in
Orange County, Calif.. Tom joined the band in 1988. Before that he was
guitarist of a heavy-metal band called "Rising". One day he discovered
a notice on a bulletin board: "No Doubt searching for guitarist". A week
later he played his first ND show in front of 600-700 people."...and music
was fun again..."
Name: Tony Kanal (bass)
Date of birth: August 25, 1970
Tony was born in India, raised
in England and moved to Calif. at the age of 11. He first met ND as a party-band
in 1987. At that time they were searching for a bass player. He joined the
band and 5 month later he was the band manager (today he isn't anymore)
and (even he didn't want to) Gwen's boyfriend. This relationship last for
7 years and it was Tony who ended it up. (But Gwen wrote the lyrics: "...I
thought that we would last / Become a little family... End it on this...").
Name: Adrian Young (drums)
Date of birth: August 26, 1969
He was born and raised in Orange
County, Calif.. He was the last member to join the band (in 1989). It looks
like he has no T-Shirts. Plying life in front of 2500 people and only wearing
a diaper is something only a few artists have done before. His famous ND
tattoo is placed on his right thigh and looks like the cover of their self-titled
album.
Eric Stefani (keyboards) left the band in 1995.
