Remember how I said I'd update this site every week? I lied.

But Brendan has finally given me new things to post! And you, lucky reader, may partake of it all! Unfortunately, it's all too much for me to put on this one page, so how bout this . . . click on one of the next few links to learn about the most recent events in the life of Brendan.

We have a possible release date for Dudley Do-Right! His opening day may just be scheduled for August 27, 1999. Remember this date and bring all your friends!
Brendan presented awards at the recent MTV Movie Award ceremony. I didn't see it myself, but I heard he did a good job and said something funny. Wish I knew what it was, I guess you had to be there.
He has also recently been seen in a commercial for the Independent Film Channel, where he's in a classroom answering the teacher's question, "What is love?" Other celebrities also appear in this ad (it might be Sarah Michelle Gellar from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), but I don't know which ones specifically since I have never seen the commercial, due to my lack of cable.

Down here, you'll find all the information on Brendan's future projects . . . I've updated it a little but I'm too lazy to rewrite the whole thing, so if you've already read about Dudley Do-Right, but you just want to see if something new has happened regarding this prestigious production, skim through.

Here's a brand new prospect for Brennie. Apparently he's taken the place of Ben Stiller in a noir-ish live action-spliced-with-cartoon film called Monkey Bone (heehee!), costarring Chris Kattan (another one of my favorites). I haven't heard too much about this . . . odd about his predilection for cartoons though.
EVEN NEWER!! Brendan may star in a remake of the 1956 Oscar-winning Around the World in 80 Days, which would be directed by the Mummy's Stephen Sommers for Warner Brothers. It's scheduled for production early next year.

Dudley Do-Right, with Sarah Jessica Parker and Alfred Molina: In another move that could mean smash success or career suicide (hyperbole, maybe?), Brendan will play Dudley Do-Right. Unlike George of the Jungle, which I grew up watching, I have never seen a Dudley Do-Right cartoon. I'll have to

find one and decide whether I heartily or hesitantly endorse this choice of role. Anyway, Bren seems eager to tackle the part ( I guess his grandpappy Horace was a mountie), so I'm sure he'll give a great performance. Sarah Jessica Parker will play his love interest Nell, and Alfred Molina (with whom, to be honest, I am unfamiliar, but apparently he was in Boogie Nights) will portray the despicable Snidely Whiplash. Filming commenced in in Vancouver on September 8th, 1998, and has since finished. Though DDR was set for a Thanks-giving 1999 release date, rumors spread that it might arrive August 27th. It ain't here yet, and I have seen no advertisements for the movie. Nevertheless, Dudley will receive heavy promotion (YAY!) when its time has come, and Universal Studios is planning a Dudley-themed ride. The pressure's on poor Bren to pull off a George-esque cash cow. Think he will? I guess we'll see . . .

Sinbad--Beyond the Veil of the Mist, with Mark Hamill and Leonard Nimoy, will feature Brendan as the voice of Sinbad. Apparently, the computer animation used in Sinbad is a revolutionary method; far less expensive yet more realistic than work done by hand. I don't know much else about this movie. We'll see how it goes . . .
