Chapter 4

I smiled as I set the small phone down. He waz energetic today. I sat up and scratched my aching head. I made my way out the door and found a note on the table. My parentz decided to go out to dinner and saw that i waz sleeping so they left me undisturbed. I frowned at the fact that I had nuthin to do all nite.

~~ Ring Ring~~. I looked over at the phone on the counter and reached over to pick it up. "Hello?" I asked.

"Sup Sup gurlie!!" the voice exclaimed.

"Hahaha..Waddup NoEmy...how ya been chica?" I asked while recognizing my best friendz voice.

"Nuthin much..just chillin....I called to ask u if u wanted to go out with me tonite.." she stated.

"Yea..ok..where we goin?" I asked.

She took a momment to think and finnally answered me.." I think it'z called Galaxy or sumpthin...I heard it waz a bomb club..".

I nodded..."Coo..can u come pick me up tho?..I kinda don't have ma car yet.." I smiled.

"For sure..I'll be around to get u in say....45 minutez?" she asked.

I agreed at the set time and stood up off the stool. I decided to take a quick shower and get dressed. After the much needed shower..I slipped on my shimmery silver dress. It waz tight fitting and hugged my curvez. Slitz lined the sidez to my mid-thigh. The thin strapz entagled my shoulderz and the revealing upper portion did me nice justice. I applied some make up and strapped on my strappy stilletoz. They were silver also and wrapped upto my mid-calvez. I heard a soft knock at the door and went to open it.

"Hey..u look great gurl!!" NoEmy exclaimed.

I smiled and looked her over.."Likewise..u look great too.. hehehe" I laughed. We chatted for a bit and I grabbed my ID and purse. I sighed as I turned off the lightz and closed the door.....maybe this will get my mind off of him for awhile...I slid my key into the slot and locked it.

A.J smiled at his dancing partner and admired her dancing skillz. She waz blonde and had shimmering blue eyez. Not exactly his type..but then again..she seemed nice. After the swift dance waz over..she asked him to come and join her at her singlez booth. A.J obliged and walked over with her..hand in hand......

We finnally found a parking space and trotted out of NoEmy'z porsche. "Dang..this club seemz packed.." she stated as we walked into line.

I smiled at her and we finally were let into the extatic club. NoEmy and I automatically slid onto the dancefloor and got our groove on. We swayed our bodiez to Olive'z " Ur not alone". It had an earthy beat to it with a touch of techno. My armz swayed into the air and I swung my body with the songz rythm. I felt so good..to be out there and mix into my daily element.

Tha song finally ended and we passed a couple of boothz to reach the bar. I accidently tipped over someone'z drink.."Gosh!! watch where ur going will ya?!!" a perky voice shouted.

I searched for the person'z face in the darkness and quickly apologized. she rolled her eyez at me and turned to continue her conversation with a man with blueish hair. I shrugged and NoEmy dragged me to the bar.

I watched as she swung her curvacious body with the music.. evry movement of her body waz hypnotizing. I didn't wanna seem rude to Beverely because she waz talking..but I couldn't stop staring at HER. She waz so luring.....Keeping my eyez on her..I watched as she made her way to my direction. The darkness of the club didn't allow me to see her face..but with evry step she took...I knew she waz beautiful.

I stared and stared until she accidentily knocked over Beverely'z drink. She waz standing no more than 2 feet away from me..but I didn't have the nerve to say a thing. She apologized but the blaring music made her voice seem like a muzzle. Beverely turned her attention to me and HER friend dragged her away into the thickness of the crowd.......

Noemy pulled me to the bar. Once we both found a seat..she put on a stern face. "That blonde chick waz pretty rude...to think u actually apologized to her." she stated.

I rolled my eyez at her.."What else waz I suposed ta do?... Just walk away and make me look like tha bitch?" I asked seriously as the baratender took my order for a drink.

NoEmy shrugged.."Atleast u wouldn't have to take her shit.." she said. I pondered over that and sighed.

Thoughtz of A.J flooded my mind again as tha appropriate song came on... "Sexual" by Amber. I whispered the wordz over and over in my mind. The daquiri that I waz sipping seemed to be quite interesting to me sinse I had no one else to pay attention to. NoEmy found a really handsome guy to dance with..and I wished like hell that he had a friend to dance with me. But unfortunately...the guy came to the club alone.

"Hey gurl!!...CaSarra?...C?.." I awoke from my trance and looked over at NoEmy who had a worried expression on her face. I put on a forceful smile ..

"Hey!..Back so soon?" I grinned. NoEmy frowned even more. She knew I waz covering something up. I hate it when she readz me like that.

"You have something on ur mind C?" she asked truly concered.

I smiled more naturally.."Nah..I'm coo...Just tired I guess....." I trailed off while looking around the club.

"Yea..well maybe I should take u back home.." she started while pulling me up from the bar booth.

I slightly shook my head.."It'z ok..u can go and have some more fun..I'll be fine.." I responded. "I'm just gonna take a walk for awhile....I'll be alright.." I reassured her.

NoEmy looked me over skeptically.."U sure you'll be ok?.." she pried one more time.

I nodded.."Yup..I'll be A-O-K.." I smiled at her.

NoEmy finally agreed to let me go and said to call her if anything happenz. I thanked her one last time for a good night out and searched my way thru the dance floor to the entrance........

".........And she waz like...That is soooo cute...." Beverely giggled. I waz just sitting there and smiling..I hope she doesn't notice that I wasn't really paying any attention.

After a couple of minutez of more blabbing..she finally excused herself to go to the bathroom. I sighed in relief and looked around the club solemnly..I spotted some of the guyz at the booth and some dancing with a couple of gurlz. I laughed at Nick'z funny expression when the gurl he waz dancing with wacked him with her hair while dancing.....but then a shimmery light caught my eye. I looked harder and noticed that it waz a dress... the same dress SHE waz wearing. Nick smiled and held her back to say something. She hugged him and I caught a glimpse of her face. "CaSarra....." I whispered to myself. I sat there shocked and dumbfounded....how did she get to New York?

I watched on as she and Nick conversated for awhile..I didn't know Nick knew her. I got up quickly and realized that this waz the only chance to really talk to her. I had trouble passing some people because of their dancing to a fast pace song. I finally reached Nick and looked around. Damn!! She waz gone.........

I treaded on and on thru the dancefloor until someone caught my arm. I looked up in suprise to be greeted by Nick'z smiling face. "Hey gurl!!!...What'z up?" he exclaimed and pulled me into a huge bear hug.

"Nuthin much..I just decided to get out of the house for awhile to party..." I smiled. He nodded in comprehension and we chatted for awhile. I noticed his dancing partner getting impatient and I told him that I'll hafta get going.

"Where ya going this time of night?" he asked looking me straight in the eyez.

Oh lord..another concerned soul..hehehe. "Just a walk..ya know..on the beach or somethin.." I grinned. He nodded and told me to call him tommorow so we could do something. I quickly told him that we were on and made my way out the door.

I stepped outside to hear cat callz being called at me and some guyz whistling. I shook my head and laughed. Men..go figure right? I looked around and breathed in deeply while staring up at the dark sky. The moon shown brightly and the air waz getting chilly. I shook out of my thoughtz and hailed a cab. "Where to ma'am?" the older man asked.

I sat back and thought. "Is there a nice beach around here maybe?..." I asked while looking up at him in the rearview mirror.

He nodded slightly and furried his eyebrowz.."Yup..I think der'z one on Brook Avenue....u should be able to catch a cab home there.." he smiled.

I grinned at his native New York accent. "Thanx...I'll like to go there please.." I answered him.

Once I felt the cab pull away from the curb..I closed my eyez and chuckled.."I should buy a beach house or something..I spend too much damn time there...hehehe".

I looked around more frantically and cursed to myself outloud. "Once again.." I said to myself. Once again..she'z gone. I noticed Nick waz off the dancefloor also and spotted him at the table where the other guyz were.

I sighed and without even thinking of Beverely...I stalked back . "Hey bone..wazzup?..Why'd u leave that cutie?.." I heard Howie say as I slouched down in my seat.

I shrugged and sighed heavily. " Uh oh..did she turn ya down Boner?" B-Rok laughed. I shot him a dirty look and continued to sulk. Am I ever gonna talk to her?

"You ok A.J?....I mean..you seem even more depressed then you were in Italy." Nick pointed out.

I grinned at him.."Yea..I'm aight...just got a lot on my mind i guess." I stated.

"You know what?.." he started. I looked up from the bottle of beer that the waitress set down for me to him expectantly... "Maybe you should get out more...I mean like in daytime. I have this friend here in New York. She'z really cool. I made planz to do something with her tommorow..maybe u would wanna come.." he finished while gulping down his cherry coke.

I shook my head in decline.." I don't wanna be a third wheel." I replied while sipping boredly at the beer.

"Nah u won't...it'z just a friendly get together..and who knowz..u might even have a good time." he said while trying to convince me.

I thought about it some more and finally gave in. Maybe he'z right..I should go and meet new people. "Ok..I'll go....where r we going anywayz?.." I asked.

Nick shrugged.." She said she'll call tommorow and we'll make planz from there.." he smiled.

I nodded and sat back...waiting for the night to be over with.
