Please note that this miscellaneous section is different than the music side's miscellaneous section! Check out some very cool painters below! Thomas Kinkade is the "Painter of Light" and his website has a very large database of his work! Once you enter his website, click on "Master Studio Works" and see some amazing paintings! Remember to click on the image to see it bigger! There's nothing like seeing his paintings in real life so find the nearest location where they carry his paintings and go check them out! It would make a terrific Christmas gift for anyone interested in the arts or has an appreciation for beauty. His website is at http://www.thomaskinkade.com/. Another very cool painter is a guy named, Robert Venosa. Many years ago I found a poster of one of his magnificent paintings and I had to have it! This was by far the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. My poster, which is a replica of his painting "Astral Circus", hangs on my wall in my bedroom. You can spend hours looking at this and still find something new in the intricate details. Trust me, it will totally blow your mind. Just click over to his catalog page of his website and scroll half way down to where the "Astral Circus" picture is located. Then click the button to see it in a bigger size! There's still nothing like seeing it in full size in real life though. Be sure to check out his other paintings in the catalog and read his bio. I like the wordings they use plus the great reviews of his art work toward the end of the page. I don't know about you but I like the PBS channel...they have great painting and cooking shows on there along with the nature series! I was just flipping through the channels last night and found Bob Ross painting on the television! It was so cool. I'm always so blown away by how quickly he can paint a beautiful landscape. I think his show is about half hour and he paints the entire canvas in that short period of time. It'd take me half hour to pick out the colors I want on my palate! I'm not much of a painter but I love paintings! I just like to have fun with it and most of what I paint don't really look like anything....maybe I'm an abstract artist...yeah, that's it! hahaha.
