Chapter Four

~*~*~

Scott’s eyes slowly opened. He sat up, puzzled.
“Scott? What’s wrong?” Sheena asked, getting up off the floor and walking to him.
“I had a weird dream.” Scott replied.
“It’s ok.” Sheena hugged him.
Becka got up off the floor and walked over to Dave, who was still sleeping on the couch, snoring loudly. Becka picked up a pillow, and placed it on Dave’s opened mouth.
“AHHHHHH!” Dave screamed, and started kicking and pushing.
“Dave!” gasped Becka.
“Dave, buddy!” Scott ran to his little brother, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him.
“Dave!” Sheena and Becka cried.
Bob and Clint woke up from their sleep and ran to Dave, who, by then was crying in his sleep. Tears streamed down his face, as he fought his attacker.
“Water!” Scott cried. “Somebody get cold water!”
Sheena was about to run upstairs when something weird happened. Becka took both of Dave’s hand in hers, leaned her head down and kissed him. Dave surprisingly relaxed and started to kiss her back. Sheena, Scott, Clint and Bob watched the two in amazement. When Becka pulled away, Dave slowly woke up. He got off the couch and saw the others looking at him in amazement.
“What?” Dave asked, wiping his face.

~*~*~

“You mean you really can’t remember?” Scott asked.
“No.” Dave looked at Becka. “You kissed me?”
“Yeah, and you kissed back.”
“What DO you remember?” Bob asked, drinking his coke.
“I remember some of my dream…”
“What is it?” Scott asked.
“I saw you with a really pretty girl in a dark alley. Then someone covered my month and dragged me away. I managed to see my attacker’s sleeve. That’s all.”
“You saw me with a girl?” Scott asked. “What does she look like?”
“I didn’t get a good look at her, but she has long blond hair, and it was in a braid.” Dave said.
Scott’s eyes widened.
“Let me write this down.” Sheena said, grabbing her notebook and a pen. She began to jot down notes.
“What about the sleeve?” Becka asked, a mystery lover.
“It’s a black jacket with a white shirt. The first button on the shirt is missing and the second button is gold.”
“Do you know which arm?” Clint asked.
Dave thought back to the dream. He remembered turning his head slightly, catching a glimpse of the sleeve…and its hand.
“It’s the left arm, and he was wearing a gold ring!” Dave cried.
“That’s great!” the others cried.
“Uh, hey guys?” Scott asked.
“What?” they asked.
“I had a dream too.”

~*~*~

“This is creepy!” shivered Sheena.
“It’s really scaring me.” Dave said.
“We have to find out more info.” Said Scott.
They all looked at each other. There was an eerie silence. Just then, Bob’s stomach growled.
They looked at each other and laughed. Becka and Sheena went upstairs to get some food.

“You know, I really don’t want to get them involved in this.” Scott said. “It’s too dangerous, I mean Dave nearly got strangled last night.”
“But they’re our friends.” Dave protested.
“Yeah, and you nearly got killed.” Scott answered. “We’re just gonna put them both in danger.”
“No, they’re already in danger.” Bob said quietly.
“What do you mean?” Clint cried.
“We told them what happened, remember? They already know.” Bob said.
“Oh no!” Scott cried.
“We’re all in this together now.” Dave said.
“They’ve been gone for a long time. Do you think something is wrong?” Bob asked.
“I sure hope not!” Scott cried.
“Besides, it’s the middle of the day, I doubt it.” Clint said. “I dunno. I just have this feeling…” But Bob’s thoughts were cut off by an ear-piercing scream.
