Chapter Three

“Hi guys, we’re here!” said Dave to the two figures standing in front of them.
Louise gasped. They were Natalie and Melissa!
“Hey Louise, what are you doing here?” asked Natalie.
“She was dragged and forced by us.” Said Scott with a laugh.
“Well, welcome.” Said Melissa said. She smiled.
Louise smiled slightly, still slightly disturb about the twin thing between Clint and Bob.
“Do you have any brothers or sisters?” Natalie asked her.
“Um, yes, uh, I mean, no…I mean…no. No, I don’t have any brothers or sisters…or twins…or…never mind.”
The others looked at her. “What?” “I mean, I don’t have any brothers or sisters.” Louise blushed.
“Oh, ok then.” Natalie shrugged.
“So, how did you two meet Louise?” asked Dave.
“Well, I nearly ran her over with my roller blades.” Natalie laughed.
“Well, I’m glad you didn’t kill her.” Bob looked at Louise.
Louise blushed.
“So, what should we do today?” asked Clint.
“Let’s show Louise around the neighborhood.” Said Scott.
“Well, can I ask you guys something?” asked Louise.
“Sure.” They replied.
“Could you tell me about yourselves?”
“I’m Natalie, naturally.” Natalie laughed. “Natalie Bass. I’m 14 and in grade 10.”
“I’m Melissa. I’m 15 and in grade 11. AND, Scott is my boyfriend.”
“I’m Clint, I’m 15, grade 10. Bob is my twin, and Dave is our fraternal triplet.”
“Thank you Clint.” Said Bob.
“I’m Scott. I’m the best looking, and Melissa is the best looking girl.”
They laughed.
“Dave is the most flirty and talkative.” Said Bob.
“Cool.” Louise said.
“Well, where should we start?” asked Scott.
“Let’s start with…well, let’s see. There’s the Mall, my house, your house, the river and the tree house.”
Louise turned white. ‘Tree house? RIVER?’
“Where do you want to go first, Louise?” asked Melissa.
“Uh… Your house?” asked Louise.
“Sure, why not!” They walked back up the street to Melissa and Natalie’s house.
“Hey Willie!” Melissa greeted her dog.
“Ruff!”
Everyone laughed. Willie bounced over to Louise and wagged his tail. He was an adorable dog, and Louise couldn’t resist smiling at its cute face.
“Let’s go inside.” Said Natalie, leading the way into the big brick house.
“Hello?” Melissa called.
“Hey Melissa! Hey Natalie!” said Dustin, their older brother.
“Hey Dustin!” Melissa said, “is mom home?”
“Nope. I’m the only one here.” He spotted Louise. “Hey, I’m Dustin.”
“I’m Louise.”
“How old are you?”
“I’m 15.”
“Cool. You’re Melissa’s age. I’m 16.” He said. “Well, Mel, Nat, I have to go. Stephanie and I are going to the movies. See ya! Nice meeting you, Louise! Nice shirt, Bob!” Dustin gave a final wave, and walked out of the house.
“Well, here’s our house. Nothing much to see.” Melissa and Natalie shrugged.
“Let’s go to the river!” said Clint.
