    Adventures With The Voodoo Crew
    Author: Martin James
    Status: Unoffical (by Ebury Press)
    Year: 1997
Comments: Very good book which contains 181 pages. Contains lots of same information that is available in 'Electronic Punks' but the most best thing about in this book is that it covers the releases of 'Firestarter', 'Breathe' and 'The Fat Of The Land'. A few black & white pictures.
"This account of The Prodigy's seven-year journey from Essex ravers to globe-devouring rock beasts would be better served as an extended fanzine piece. Martin James seemingly had unlimited access to the band: his tale is peppered with phone calls to Laim Howlett's home and visits to dressing rooms around the world. It gives the book a fly-on-the-wall feel but that, ultimately, proves to be its undoing. The Prodiogy come across as down to earth, but have little of substance to impart. James' proximity to, and enthusiasm for, his subject means that there's a lack of critical perspective. 2/5." Paul Rees, Q Magazine, January 1998.

    Firestarters
    Author: John Keaton
    Status: Unoffical
Comments: Contains nothing particulary interesting. Don't bother to get this one.

    Music For The Voodoo People
Author: Giorgio Campani & Vanni Neri
    Status: Unoffical
Comments: Contains bootleg CD, which contains 'What Evil Lurks' EP! The book contains both Italian and English text. The sound quality on the CD is terrible and it's recorded with incorrect speed settings. Don't bother to get this one, not even for the CD. Total rip-off!

    Prodigy
    Author: Martin James
    Status: Unoffical (by Sanctuary Publishing)
    Year: 28th June 2002
Comments: An updated version of 'Adventures With The Voodoo Crew'. There's the description of 'No Souvenirs', the Mixmag 'Did Charly kill Rave?' story presented from a different point of view, the breakup with Leeroy is explained in more detail than any other journalist has ever managed to. Also covered are the different solo careers, Maxim, Flightcrank and Liam Howlett's DJ sessions. The book also covers the lenghty break of the band, how they finally made a return, it briefly covers the European and Australian tours and then finishes with a day with Liam at Rollover studios where he is putting the final touches to 'Baby's Got A Temper'. Martin James describes the book as being much more critical, more "adult" and more in depth, especially about Liam Howlett.
