Oxide And Neutrino - No Good 4 Me Oxide And Neutrino are a British garage act. 'No Good 4 Me' is a cover version of Prodigy's 'No Good (Start The Dance)'. Jimmy Eat World - Firestarter Jimmy Eat World did a cover version of Prodigy's 'Firestarter' in 2002. Their appeared on the same charity album, '1 Love', as Prodigy's version of The Specials' 'Ghost Town'. Their version was slower and more guitar based than the original song. Their version of 'Firestarter' was actually released first time on Better Looking Records as 7" green vinyl. A-side had 'Last Christmas' (a Wham! cover) and the B-side had 'Firestarter'. The single was limited to 3,000 copies. "We picked up the track because it seemed to be the least obviouchoicese for us and that sometimes makes for the most interestinoutcomeme. We also felt that we could be more creative with it and sort of give the song a different perspective. The lyrics are very dark and ominous so we tried to capture that mood in our version." Jim Adkins, Jimmy Eat World. Gene Simmons - Firestarter The front man of Detroid's legendary KISS covered Prodigy's 'Firestarter' in 2004. The song featured Dave Navarro (best known for being guitar player in Jane's Addiction and ex-member of Red Hot Chilli Peppers) on guitar. The song was featured on Simmons' solo album 'Asshole'. |
