The Drowned World Tour will be broadcast on the HBO network (USA) on August 26, 2001, as was the The Blonde Ambition Tour (Tokyo) and The Girlie Show (Sydney)

One fan recently paid for a concert ticket in the form of sex...the Australian papers went with the headlines "In Bed For Madonna"

Madonna has cancelled 3 of her tour shows so far. 2 in Germany (the two debut shows) and 1 in New Jersey recently due to a "throat infection"

Madonna has replaced "Gone" on the USA leg of the tour with "You'll See", something she has never ever done before is "alter" her show

There are few people that would've missed the most spectacular concert ever - Madonna Live on her Drowned World Tour from Detroit, Michigan on August 26, 2001.
The special was broadcast on the HBO network and related networks arcoss the entire globe. Madonna looked and sang very well. She seemed excited to be in her "home town" of Detroit, expalining to the crowd "seeings i was born and bred here, you made me what i am today"...Madonna's father, Tony, was a guest in the crowd of the August 26 show. There was a semi-stir in the Madonna camp with Madonna singing a "brand new song" for her dad but explained

that it was not about her own father. Ther song, after "Don't Tell Me" was called "Oh Dear Daddy", the lyrics are featured right, make of it what you will.
Madonna has also made the recent Top Grossing Concerts of 2001 List with her Madison Square Garden Shows being the fastest and top grossing shows of 2001.
