*
The Fleetwood Mac Tribute album that features matchbox 20 has been released.
They cover "Never Going Back" . Being the modest men we love, Rob
and Paul were quoted saying, "We screwed up their song..." (Yea
- I'm sure mb20 could screw up a song!?!?! I think Rob and Paul forgot
they are famous musicians!)
* Check
out a beautiful and kinky picture of the matchsticks in the current "US"
magazine with Meg Ryan on the cover. pg.23 (sorry
this news is late - if you don't get a chance to get the magazine - check
out the picture on the fun facts page.)
* Matchbox
20 won the Blockbuster Music award for Favorite Group: New Artist!!
Even though the show was aired on TV -
you didn't see mb20 there - they didn't televise their award - and plus,
they weren't even there for the ceremonies - they were in Minneapolis -
singin' their hearts out to us!! How Loyal!! Good Job guys!
(Thank goodnes the Spice Grrrls
didn't beat them again - thanks for all you guys who voted!! )
* The Spice
Girls STOLE both of Matchbox 20's awards at the American Music Awards :o(
(Don't worry guys, we'll PUSH them around at the Grammy's!!)
* matchbox20
is featured on a Target (c) commercial!! The commercial consists
of a clip of the "3 A.M" video and can be seen on either Vh1 or Mtv!

time in the United Kingdom later this month!! (get
ready to watch the matchsticks rise on the Billboard charts!)

subscribe to Rolling
Stone!! ~ way to go guys!)
* Matchbox
20 broke Pearl Jam's record of having the fasteset selling-out show!!
The Feb.14, 1998 (Rob's Birthday) show in Atlanta sold out in 4
MINUTES!!! I don't think anyone will
break the matchstick's record any time soon
(except them - their show on
Feb. 13 sold out in 30 minutes, and then the next day they broke their
own record!! Pretty Kinky!!)
Everybody get your tickets FAST!!
* matchbox20 was featured on Mtv's News
1515. The interview discussed that
fans love the music - but they don't
even know the matchstick's names. That was
fine by Rob and Paul. They said
they would rather have fans love the music, than
be able to recognize them in a grocery
store.
* Adam Durtiz of Counting Crows
joined the matchsticks onstage for the Feb.27th Seattle show. He
sang a Willie Nelson song and "Long Day" with the guys. Thanks
to the Unofficial
mb20 Page
